Pregnancy is weird altogether.

Me too! And yes, yes it is. You have this lovable parasite growing within you, ready to burst through your chest be born at any moment. It hiccups and kicks and rolls (and puts its foot up on your ribcage like a footrest, dang it) and responds to voices and music and whatnot. Then it's born and you realize that rebellion, sarcasm, and puns are genetic as well as hair color and eye color. Then you blink too many times and they're 16, in love, and you have a grandduckie or they're 14 and the next big groundbreaking author. And every moment, you're so terrified and proud, all mixed up into one big ball of Mom Crazy.

TL;DR: Spawns are weird, and make you crazy.

Yet all I want is red meat and ice cream, 24/7.

And a few other things that cost too much or are so unhealthy I can't justify indulging.

OMG, ice cream was my weakness, especially strawberry or cookies and cream. And chili cheese tots from Sonic with ranch on top.
