JV was dominant for a couple seasons. I think that was pre-Kate? I don't even know. I haven't even checked his numbers from this season. I'm sure they're okay, but he's making 28 million dollars this season and next. That's crazy. He should still be ace material with that kind of money

I know it's not my money, but hope the Astros don't do it. Either Sonny Gray or Jacob DeGrom would be a real nice add to the rotation

I'm sure JV will go somewhere though before the trade deadline. If it's not the Astros, some team will splurge or trade some prospects for him
