Quick question: what approval rating should I be aiming for? Currently hovering around 98%

Are there any requests for a rating over 98%? Or is 97% sufficient for all HITs?

You should aim for as high as possible (99%+) and try and build your padding/numbers so when you do get a rejection in the future your approval rating can tank the hit with no problem

Requesters vary with the qualifications they use so sometimes it wouldn't matter, but not being at 99% would hurt your earning potential over a longer period of time

It's really stressful trying to make every HIT is approved ....

Providing good work is important. Getting rejections means you don't get paid for your time. Also, there are many requesters who don't post anymore/moved platforms (rightfully so) due to scammers and people providing shit work unfortunately. As workers, we want requesters (at least the good ones) to keep coming back so everybody wins. If people provide bad work and do shady stuff to gain in the short term it fucks everybody over in the long run in my opinion

Also, if one of your goals is to eventually get masters, I would speculate and say the fewer rejections the better your chances even though masters is a lottery.

It really is a fake 100. As far as quals go once you get a rejection you're at 99; even if it says 100.
