It will pre-qualify you for things. If you don't do them, you may still qualify, or you may get screened out of further studies.
Those let you skip screeners that you would qualify for and automatically DQ's you from the ones for which you aren't in the demo.

Last Friday he took me on a 'Nantucket sleigh ride' - I opened the door with him on the leash and he took off, after what turned out to be a skunk. I went down the steps, hit my head on the pavement, my arm hit something on the way down - bruises everywhere.
