If you want to know anything at all about transcription you gotta ask @Digital Nomad , who I'm pretty sure hasn't done a non-transcription hit since the early 70's.

I don't do anything less than $1 per audio minute.

And really there isn't much of it at all on mturk.

Transcribing used to be my bread and butter on turk (for about 2.5 years). I haven't made a cent from transcribing this year. It just dried up last year.
