Now THAT was really really odd... someone was obviously submitting those because right up until the batch was gone I was still working and returning dogs... and the percentage of dogs to working links never crossed 40% to the very last hit I caught. I was expecting 10k to be sitting there broken. Didn't happen.

I don't think there was someone submitting just broken ones. Maybe there is a system on mturk that doesn't allow a hit to be returned more than once or twice?
