If you really think about it, "Real Life" is a very well designed MMORPG.

You can literally do anything you want, just remember there are consequences and laws.

For example, you could if you wish, go player killing, but then you end up breaking the games rules.

Which if-then statements make it so now you are in trouble (because you broke the law), and well I wouldn't want to mess with the Admins like that because then you'll end up behind bars or worse, banned.

One can also argue that it is a horribly designed MMORPG due to the fact there is no end game or goal.... the myth of sisyphus... Albert Camus discusses moments of lucidity that bring us to the realization that existence is absurd and there is no point.... Kierkegaard obviously tells us to embrace the absurdity... but embracing the absurdity still doesn't give us an end game, it just makes the process of leveling up more bearable.

Check out some of Thomas Campbells work. He has videos up on youtube and he has written a few books. Hes a physicist who postulates we pretty much live in the Matrix.

Couldn't the end game be, to map out all the way humanity can end itself, to prevent such things? Making every endgame like
