Just dropping in because, much to my shock, c-sats responded to me about an email I sent 11 days ago about longer timers:

"Hi, [self-redacted] thank you for contacting us. We appreciate the feedback and suggestion.

We understand that each worker would ideally like to be able to hold onto as many videos at a time as possible. However there is also a competing interest from our end of things - we want a wide variety of reviewers to weigh in on our videos. Our research has shown that that kind of spread leads to the most accurate scores for the doctors being reviewed. So right now the 45 minute timer on each HIT is a fine balance between letting workers grab a few videos at a time and ensuring many Turkers get access to our HITs.

We will definitely capture your feedback and let you know if we are able to make adjustments."

I responded asking about, perhaps when they released those batches that say "you've completed 3 out of 25" those can have longer timers since they're the ones giving us so many to be able to do. Those are so rare though, so idk.

Alas, no, have yet to read Sleeping Beauties. Just watched Gerald's Game (written by Stephen King), as it recently became available on Netflix. It was... good enough.

Remember reading, "Claiming of Sleeping Beauty" by A.N. Roquelaure (pen name of Anne Rice). A few years ago... I remember it being somewhat intriguing, yet not enough to go back and read again. She used another pen name, due to nature of the writing.. BDSM, roleplay, Mistress slave and the like.

Any good books being read out there? Miss the Lisbeth Salander series "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"...

I haven't read Gerald's Game, one day maybe. I don't think his work usually translates well to the screen. Good enough sounds about right. Maybe the new It is better.

We have a dead-ish book thread somewhere in the social section... I'm reading The School for Good & Evil series right now because my brain can't handle anything serious at the moment

I haven't read much Stephen King, but Sleeping Beauties looks interesting!
