That x8 batch up is pretty sweet. Especially if you've done a ton of the NCIS for Zcrowd at $0.24 per 4.

Yes, thanks for asking...He has a blocked urethra. They are doing surgery to widen it to prevent it from happening again. It happened once before and cost $1700 to just clear the blockage. It was either do the $1700 again and about once a year for the rest of his life (he's only 5), or go for the more expensive now but cheaper in the long run preventative surgery....It's worth it but my credit card isn't happy... Hopefully, we will have him back on Sunday.
I had a maine coon cat that had that problem with kidney stones once. They could treat it with medicine though. He hated going to the doctor to have his urine checked and the stinker could hold it. It got so frustrating, I cleaned the bathtub good with clorox one day and told him to his face that if he pee'd in the tub, I'd use a dropper and get a sample for the vet. Next thing I knew, there was urine in the tub. The cat understood what I said. I called the vet and asked it that would be ok to check for the problem and they said sure. Cat was happy, I was happy, vet was happy. Stinker.

It's soul crushing but the pay is good.
Bonuses at 50 and 100 HITs completed per day too.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear that! My little guy had a similar issue, though they didn't offer that type of surgery. They had to remove the stones and crystals and then get him on a strict diet. All is well now, but it was heartbreaking to almost lose him. And about $4k when all was said and done, whew. Thank you for being a super-responsible pet owner! :) Here's hoping they reschedule the study to a convenient time soon!

I hear ya, it is hard to justify the cost but my husband and I don't have kids so our two cats fill that void.
And you nailed it. My kid will need a second round of braces. As I read your post I thought...whelp, my poor kitty would be a goner. I gotta pay for the kid's teeth.

I had a cat for 13 years who I call my "soul mate" kitty. He and I really bonded. I found him on the side of the road before his eyes were even open and kept him alive through sheer willpower and vet bills. I spent oodles on him (I didn't have any kids for most of his life). Now I have a new kitty. I love her to pieces but...I just got her vaccinated, chipped, fixed, and examined. That's her allotment for the year, lol!

My daughter's cat swallowed a hair tie or something. She took the kitty to the vet and they said she needed surgery. My daughter's daddy had just put the money in her checking account to pay for her wedding. So...she cut back on flowers, cake and some other things and saved her cat's life. Her wedding was still perfect.

Kitties are more important than a wedding. :)
