Also make sure if you do get a disk drive, it's not an older one that uses IDE connectors rather than SATA which is all modern motherboards support

It grabs hits however fast PC sets it to to avoid PREs. I don't pay much attention to what it's set at as long as I do catch stuff

No, I totally hear you that most people aren't as neurotic about it as I am.
AMT allows you to "request" a page, about once a second. So, if you have 10 PandA's, generally, it goes around the lot once every 10 seconds. Then, if you add Hit Catcher every 3 seconds, it will add 4 seconds, in this setup.
I'm personally afraid that if I only try to grab my PandA's 4 times a minute, I'm not going to catch them.
But, as I said, I'm crazy.

I know this doesn't do anything to help you now but you can download a windows image file from microsoft and use that to install. Then you just use the Reg key from the one you bought. I found this out the last time i built a system.

You getting a solid 1080p 60fps on games on a decent setting?

I think the 1060 6gb would only struggle on ultra on most new titles. This video from Digital Foundry from last year shows the one @LowCalCalzone has running several demanding games at high or max and most of them was at or well above the 60fps mark. Also, she was smart enough to get a 144hz monitor so her framerates will be higher than that in most cases and I'm certain Nvidia has optimized the drivers for smoother gameplay since the 1060gb came out.
