I once saw a video of a women giving birth in a river - to show that 'natural' child birth was beautiful or some bs like that. Husband was just standing around and she had two other kids nearby. Most of it was her on her hands and knees screaming in pain....you know-naturally.

Sounds a lot better to me than the doc looking at his/her watch, realizing it is close to quitting time and calling for a cesarean section.
