Today is my city's City Council meeting I attend via Zoom. It sure beats in-person attendance - starts at 10 a.m., then breaks for lunch, and depending, they resume, sometimes at 2 or later at 6 p.m.

Today is my city's City Council meeting I attend via Zoom. It sure beats in-person attendance - starts at 10 a.m., then breaks for lunch, and depending, they resume, sometimes at 2 or later at 6 p.m.

I want a mayor. wherever one stands on any issue here in town, it feels like a bad game of telephone - actually worse. Every time there is an understanding a new person pops up to ask: what's the justification for this? And the convo goes back to square one.

I wish we had a mayor. He or she would suggest and implement whatever and if we didn't like it - we'd toss them in the next election. Instead, there is endless debate.........with new people arriving to debate all the time......
