Sheesh, I'm going to get a complex at my desk job! We are interviewing for a new employee. We get tons of responses, interview people, they say how much they want want want the job, then...poof. We hired one. She didn't show up her first day of work, and we've never heard from her since. Just offered it to another person, and she said no that her dad just got quite sick and now she has to take care of him.

Starting to think we suck as employers, lol! (We offer a decent package for a small business...well, I think we do!)

if you don't let them snapchat all day and keep their face planted in their phone, nor do you let them come in late and/or leave early and take an 1 1/2 hour lunch and pay at least $15 an hour with sick leave, vacation time, health care w/ dental, then yes, you are a shitty employer
