GOODMORNING

I need some motivation to do all this summer work. I'm really stressed and was crying yesterday. Ugh.
I also have to go get a mammogram next Tuesday. Might have to reschedule if husband can't take off work. (I'm 30 btw)

10 cents, or even 25 cents for quick and easy survey is better than trying to catch a dollar survey and getting zero cents becuase it's not catching!

nothing wrong with that. If you have a family history and catch it early with an earlier age mammogram, it should be treatable. I hope you don't have to reschedule because I'd hate to think you forget to reschedule and don't give yourself peace of mind.

Why did one of the quotes say "Oktober said" ? LOL. That is my cat's name. Did you change that? I'm confused!

And yes, I have a very strong history. I took the BRCA testing and it was negative but they suggested mammorgram and mri alternating every 6 months starting at age 30. I don't mind being proactive.

You will be fine. Your strong. We did not know of any history since I was adopted so my cancer came as a surprise. (I was a young 40 with ovarian). My 30 year old just had her first mammogram since we now have a family history due to DNA. If nothing else, it can help with a baseline for future mammograms. Treat yourself afterwards to a mani-pedi or a new purse afterwards.

I just dread the pain! I can't get even a regular breast exam without wanting to cry, lol. My sister had ovarian cancer around 25. Mom breastcancer. Aunt on mom's side breast cancer. Great grandma on dad's side breastcancer.
Prob a good thing I finally realized that I needed to stay outta tanning beds lol!

Yes, I won't lie and say you don't end up being sore afterwards. I do believe the peace of mind is worth it. I found out my bio-mom died of breast cancer and bio-dad of prostrate plus 3 out of 11 siblings have passed away. (never knew them). Don't reschedule, find someone else to go if your husband can't. Hugs.

yes, I changed it. ? I figured I'd have some fun this morning, plus it's funny to read your posts with your profile pic Oktober staring at me, making it seem like the cat is one the one speaking. I also like sofaslug's cat profile pic looking at me while reading the post and I forget the user name who has that nice orange cat face profile pic staring right at you when you read their post.

I'm glad you are being proactive - many people want you around a long time.
