So, was watching some hiking 'porn' - the youtube blog of a young woman who, just last year - despite not a huge hiking history - went to go do the Appalachian trail north bound (starting in GA). She was slow, determined, and learned her gear as she went. So much rain! At times, wading through mud, flies, and the pain of the endless hiking. She hiked alone, and then in groups (as she met people) and then alone again. Through the rocky terrain of PA and the snakes (SNAKES!). Slowly, slowly - VT (bugs! and so much more rain) and the beautiful White Mountains of NH (love hiking those) and finally. Unbelievably, the northern terminus of Mt Katahdin in Maine. One last mountain - 6 months after she started - more than 2000 miles under her belt.

She and a hiking pal she met attempted Katahdin, but couldn't make it (too cold, windy) and they turned around to the base to attempt it the next day. Her husband came, he had come a few times to hike a mountain with her in the six months - to support her?

No.

As she stared up at her final push, the thing she had been working towards for 6 months and just barely missed the day before
he came to ask her for a divorce. Two weeks later, the papers were signed and he was dating her good friend.

I'm not sure I can access a password. I have no idea about merging two accounts (perhaps that is possible @aveline ?

Thanks, it's ok if you can't. Like I said for some reason it wouldn't set up for me when i first made it and jeremy helped. last night this one set up okay when i used a different email and username. i was very frustrated because i had work in msword and lost it. ms kept telling me i had to sign up for an account and i kept saying, but what have i been paying you for for several years now? never got that back. computer savvy neighbor came over to help me set up new ms account. but i still have to start my work over. and like i said why was i paying for that sub for years now and ms didn't recognize it?
