Wakabayashilite is a rare mineral first discovered in Nevada in the 1920s, but it was mistaken for a hair orpiment. In the 1970s, Wakabayashilite was found in Japan and scientifically identified as a new mineral. It was named after Yaichiro Wakabayashi. Wakabayashilite generally occurs with other arsenic minerals in high-arsenic gold deposits. Wakabayashilite has a molecular weight of 1,291.80 gm and has a silky luster. Wakabayashilite is part of the Orthorhomic crystal system. Have a great Wednesday.
P.S. - Wish @TissueHime a good first week and beyond at his new job!
