Okay,
I'm leaving.....on a jet plane.
Not for three days
and then I'll be back again!

(Had to have daughter hit submit on the airplane tickets! I was so nervous that I wasn't getting the best fare - and I wasn't - but it was 'good enough'. Honestly, with all those search engines, and all the choices -
and wt-heck one doesn't even allow a carry on. NO CARRY ON? Please.)

Next step. Find a cheap-o rental car and hotel that isn't terrible, but isn't super nice (I honestly don't care one fig about where I sleep. I AM paying for a side trip to the Grand Canyon and a high end trail train ride. So, we're doing some of the touristy things .

Anyone else think it is weird there are't pages of studies waiting out on MTurk any longer? And is the lag we're seeing because they lowered the priority of the MTurk tasks? It doesn't seem terribly positive to me...

Grand Canyon this week is about 90 deg, so it won't be as hot as Phoenix. You could also book the trip when it's not monsoon season so that the temps will be delightful. Just don't book in the winter or the Grand Canyon might have snow on it.
