we were going to stay in arizona until this morning. but after we hiked a part of the rim of the grand canyon, (it's really just a flat path) we drove back to phoenix where daughter noted that it was 111 degrees.

So, I changed our flight and we left! We really went to visit relative, then saw the grand canyon because.....it's the thing to do. (and daughter was so excited!). But she wasn't feeling well and the high temps didn't help at all.

Came home to weather in the 70's:celebrate2:
