Welcome to today's MTurk Crowd work thread!
For today's theme I wanted to give a little shout-out to the often-helpful, occasionally-maligned, essential Mturk tool Turkopticon (TO)*, the feedback/review system for workers graciously maintained for us by Lilly Irani and Six Silberman.
No matter how much we sideways glance at questionable 5/5 pay, defensive rejection reviews (mine included), or colors in HIT scraper, TO remains an important part of turking workflow, especially for newbies. I'd like to take this opportunity to ask each one of you reading this right now to go leave an extra review on TO today and do your part to improve the information and discourse stored on that system for our benefit.
