Thank you for filling out our form regarding your Mturk account suspension. We have seen a large spike in account suspensions related to AmazonPay in the last few days. We are going to have a Zoom call tomorrow the 27th August at 1pm Eastern Time to see if we can find any common themes with the account suspension.

what role does Turkopticon have in things? Are they a Mturk contracted company to help run Mturk or why are they offering to help if contacting Amazon doesn't work?

no suspension problems for me. Going to guess it is because my payment goes to my bank and not to my Amazon Pay.

I think they are like an NGO or something for Data Workers, its kinda like their job now. (I think)

mine go to my verified bank account, too

Turkopticon has intervened in the past (successfully). They are researchers who banded together to help support workers (years ago). We'll see what happens

No longer getting payments error when attempting to accept hits, can view my banks transfers and stuff now. Page working very slow, they might be working on it. Hopefully they fix this.
