Thank you for the info! I don't mind writing, unless it's one of those think of a time when you felt whatever and describe in detail how you felt, who you were with, blah, blah, blah. Not that I haven't done plenty of those, but I just have to be in the mood with nothing better to do!
No writing about your "feelings" only your "opinions" for this one.

Maybe we could do a poll about which day you have your Labor Day BBQ - Saturday, Sunday or on Labor Day?

I guess the one good thing about the Brittany Quagan HIT from yesterday (when it was only $10 ?) is it approved and paid in under 24 hours

We're not doing/going to one this year. :(
Hubby works on Monday, I'll be cleaning the house and packing. Tomorrow we're planning on working on my car.
*sigh* ...Adulthood...

I'm not doing anything, either. All I have is hurricane goods, because it looked like we would be having a direct hit (I am in Florida). Home is boarded up, lots of canned crap, water, etc. It looks like the hurricane, after a turn north, won't affect us too badly after all, but it's not looking good for other coastline eastern states.

I hear you. I didn't get much with Mathew, but I have been without power for more than two weeks with other hurricanes that just skirted the coastline.

yep better to be prepared, and there is no saying that another one wont come a week behind it.

Exactly! Though I hate living in what now feels like a tomb with all the windows boarded, those boards will probably stay up, maybe till November, lol. One year, we had two hurricanes - Fran and some other crazy bitch, within a month of each other.

If I didn't have to send multiple emails to Transcribe This after every 10th submission their work would be a whole lot more appealing. The random rejections for no reason are ridiculous.

You might be thinking of Hurricane Hermine that came up through the gulf and hit us on the west coast in like sept 2016 then a month later we got hit with Matthew and it went up the east coast... Funny thing I thought I was sick from the loss of power with Matthew, turned out i was a couple weeks pregnant then LOL

PE $50.30

Satisfied with that for a weekend day. This week has really lacked batch work that i normally do, it was a very survey heavy week. Hopefully that means that all the batches are ready to come out next week.

LOL, at least you got a memory of your baby girl to associate with that! You also sent me on a search to figure out what year I was so affected by 2 hurricanes. I think it was 2004, but I went into such a rabbit hole and got so distracted. Time for bed for me, for sure.

I'm so rusty with scripts...batches are great but I'm in for some serious studying to re-figure them out this week. Last week was brutal survey city for me and I only cleared $50 for 3 days. Oh to go back to the days when $100 was easy peasy! Damn!

Ohhh didnt realize you meant that far back.. I remember that , my mom and I used to live in this tiny house, then we moved next door to the bigger one cuz it was owned by the same person. then we got hit with hurricanes, Charley, Frances & Ivan .. A tree fell on the tiny house and split it in 2. We didnt have city water we were on a well. We lost power for a month. so no water either. Luckily our neighbor on the other side had city water and we pulled a hose with a sprayer through our bathroom window and showered that way and used it to be able to flush our toilets.. was a complete nightmare.. Our phone lines were also down and I worked from home at the time as an Adult phone conversationalist specialist, so couldnt work for over a month. So I guess you could say I was affected too LOL

No hurricanes but I lived in Lafayette, Tennessee for this:

Had no power for nearly two weeks, George W Bush came, declared a disaster area, my neighbors empty above ground pool was on my roof. Weird week. Totally unexpected too, I was driving and basically raced out of the path to get home. It was madness for weeks. My town turned into a police state where you couldn't drive back in after 7 PM. National guard patrolling for looters, I volunteered to do house checks for people under debris or bodies that hadn't been found.

So yeah, emergency kits, stay safe, weather is terrifying.
