took a knitting class yesterday. learned two stitches. now she says we're ready to learn how to make things. actually, we learned three stitches but the third one, I couldn't master. learned knit stitch which i already knew, then knit row, pearl row, but when we got to knit one, pearl one, well, couldn't get the "hand" of it. however, she said usually in her "101" class students only manage the first stitch so, guess it was a good day.
