might as well pack my bags. last time this happened, everyone moved to Texas.
The Great Blizzard of 1978 was a historic winter storm that struck the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes regions of the United States as well as Southern Ontario in Canada from Wednesday, January 25 through Friday, January 27, 1978. It is often cited as one of the most severe blizzards in US history.

yep, i've got pictures somewhere. we were young. we didn't care. it was another snowstorm, a he** of a snowstorm, but a snowstorm. If I lost any power, it wasn't for long. the thing that bothered me was the helios that began flying overhead. Heard them all the time. That was the first time we'd had that. Guess they were looking for stranded and dead people. Don't know. Never have gotten used to the copters flying overhead even after Houston and their penchant for using them to find crack houses. I remember it was nearly a week before I could even get my car out of the apartment parking lot.
