We're now offering custom 'Contributor' banners to members that have donated more than $50. This is in addition to the custom icon that we've already been giving people for donating $50 or more. The only requirement is that the banner must be a solid color. Also, we can only change the color of the banner. Changing the text or font in any way is not possible.
We did this very briefly last year, but had to stop because we were more limited than we thought with how many banners we could create. That's been resolved. We're also changing the requirement to $50 so it's not just two or three people that have them, and there are already a lot of you here that have donated more than $50 over time.
If you believe you've donated more than $50 to the forum and we haven't contacted you about it, please let us know. We do our best to keep track of donation amounts, but we may not always catch everyone.
And I know that $50 is still a lot of money for a banner, but making custom banners is a very time-consuming process. We want them to be something special that few people obtain; a way to show appreciation to our biggest donors.
