HIT asked for my initials, zip code, last number of SSN and I gave it to them. Was it a scam?

I'm new to mturk. I did a HIT today that asked for my initials, zip code, last number of SSN for a bonus for each that I gave them. Yes, I'm dumb for giving them this info. I didn't think they could do much with it in fact I still don't. But I'm afraid that it was a scam and I'm paranoid now. I don't remember who the requestor was. Has anyone run into a HIT like this before?

It's not likely but it's possible.

The point of the study may have been to see how easily people will turn over this info, lol.
