Hey there, im new to MTurk. Ive lurked reddit for years and always saw MTurk being mentioned here and there in subreddits about making money online. I never actually got into due to the things being said about it, mostly cuz I only had a mobile fone to get online. I now have a laptop so I've been interested in creating as many income streams with my new laptop. I Found this forum on the MTurk reddit along with some others, some of them are dead now but I c this one is still active. I'm not computer illiterate but I was certified as a network+ associate in 2001, that's 23 years ago n things have changed quite a bit. I'm interested in scripts and extensions n software that make turking a lot easier. I've been making pennies my best hit so far was for .45 cents. I try 2 keep the page up and even still I'm not fast enough to catch the hit or either I'm not qualified for it. Any suggestions advice and constructive criticism is welcomed. Imma disabled empty nestor with lots of time on her hands that needs 2 occupy it profitably. Thank u kindly in advance.

Honestly Mturk is near dead. When you were seeing it mentioned on reddit years ago thats when people could make low 5 figures in a year on here as a side hustle but those days are long long gone and unless you have qualifications that were handed out years ago and no longer are you're going to struggle to ever make more than $5 a day on here.

It all died off as covid hit. Wasn't really all covids fault it was the fact that all the work was getting scammed and requesters were figuring that out so that happening plus covid at the same time just nuked the marketplace by 2022. And yea it's just been circling the drain now the last 3 years. I've been here off and on since 2010. Only was here last year since I had one of those old qualifications that was paying out well.

im on prolific and its been pretty good 2 me so far. thank u kindly 4 ur i nput b4 i bought a subscription to one of the mturk alleged extensions 2 make me more profitable

Yea that's where half the surveys that used be on mturk ran off to.

clickworker is very similar to mturk also and it uses UHRS n I've already made $10 they're just really slow paying out
