Okay,

How many of you are using Windows 10? I've been thinking of upgrading from Windows 7, but really do not want to lose anything I've got stored. So i would like to know if it was an easy install.

I hope this is the right place to post this.

I use windows 10, the upgrade was very simple and very quick. I didn't lose anything. There have been some fairly minor issues with some of the updates but they usually get them fixed within a day or two. Overall I'm fairly happy with it but I'm going to be switching to linux anyway for privacy reasons.

Did you upgrade? I just got a notice and was searching the forum for info and came across this thread.

Windows 10 completely fried two of out laptops, so that would be my input on the issue. It brick'd both mine and my husbands laptop.

OMG. I am leaning towards NOT going windows 10. I have Windows 7 and it works just fine. Microsoft will send security updates for Windows 7 through January 14, 2020. I should have a new computer by then.

I have Windows 10 on my laptop (new) and desktop (upgraded from Windows 7) and love it. No issues at all.
