The job I'm interviewing for today requires a bachelor's degree for a job that universally only requires a high school diploma (and still pays the same). I think if anything, employers are just using the degree to weed people out and cut down the pool of potential applicants.

you can take the bar without having gone to law school in 4 states. they all have different requirements. i thought about this but i work with lawyers too much to want to be one anymore

I know but Indiana isn't one of them. I was on this whole " I am going to change the world" kick when I was younger.

Yeah.... not burning entire neighborhoods right now but they can't stop them. One of the smaller ones in Napa was 65% contained last night though so that is something. The winds are going to come in from the North today so that puts us in real danger for the first time. Has to jump a river though so idk, it has jumped highways pretty easy so a river could be done I guess.
