I'm too much of a chicken - I've never seen any of those movies

:sofa:
A friend got Silence of the Lambs (years ago!) and I spent most of the movie in the hallway or the bathroom (trying to not hear what was happening). But I kept coming back because I really, really wanted to see it over. It was SO importat. I wanted him to die and everyone to be safe forever after.

and then he didn't die. :frustrated:

Rosemary's Baby and Night of the Living Dead two of the scariest movies ever made.
Slasher flicks are the lowest common denominator in horror.

When I was in high school a friend and her family wanted to watch The Exorcist. The VHS had a little "making of" featurette before it started. I was so freaked out by the behind the scenes stuff that I hid upstairs while they watched the movie.

I don't even want to think about Silence of the Lambs... :nailbite:

oh there's a poll now
but all those options are terrible and not even remotely scary.

Everyone go watch "The Eye". It's Taiwanese. I can't see it because I'm too wimpy, but my husband loves scary movies and this is one of his favorites.

The Ring and Ju-on scared the living shit out of me...

I first watched The Exorcist with my best friend in high school while we were babysitting. Creepy, unfamiliar house with all kinds of sounds...

I'm glad the kids stayed asleep in their room the entire time, because if they needed something, they would have had to fend for themselves. We didn't leave the couch the entire night.
