I recall an attitude when scripts first came into use that quite a few people had that only people who were on MTurk because they were totally broke/had no other options should be "allowed" to use scripts and everyone who did it for extra spending money/had other jobs shouldn't use the scripts at all. People would get MAD at each other if someone who was a casual worker mentioned using a script.
