Nope, you're not the only one. :facepalm2:

I'm really done with today, for realsies now.

edit: I never say "realsies". :cautious: I think I really do need to chuck my computer out the window.

Or get some sleep.

I turned them all off for now until and if we find out more. I often have better luck just searching the old fashioned way for hits anyway.

It came close to passing in SF a couple years back, I am all for it so that all the things you just mentioned were actually looked after.
To be perfectly honest... there is a period in the near future where automation is going to fuck the working mans world up, much like what happened during the industrial revolution. It changed the face of the world for the better (arguably, dependent on what you think is "better")... but it destroyed many peoples lives who had to live through it (or worse... the ones who didn't manage to survive the 80 years, lost their jobs to automation and starved to death because social programs are bad)... the conversation for universal basic income needs to start now, before the next industrial revolution causes worse fallout than the dust bowl.

Interestingly there was also an agricultural revolution before that... agriculture allowed for a population boom but it changed the paradigm of living and chained people to the land which opened them up to more disease and famine than in any period before it.

As far as prostitution is concerned... if someone can do a job where they go get bombs and guns aimed at them for a living, someone else should be allowed to go legally do a job where other peoples privates get aimed at them (porn). It's that simple. Write some laws to prevent workers from being exploited like any industry, treat them like small business owners if you want... maybe actually talk to people who are already doing it about how to make the job safer and less exploitable instead of having a bunch of rusty old politicians who are used to hiring hookers under the table write the laws in a vacuum.

The very thought of Blue @Blue making pillow talk is making me all twitterpated here.
Last year I did 6 interpretive rope/shibari/seminawa performances that were a ton of fun. This year, so far, I've done 8 and have another 3 scheduled. It's a good time... lights, electroluminescent wires, music, people up on stage getting naked tied up and suspended from the ceiling in strange ways... you might say my pillow talk be tite af.

Reminds me of the "mummy of Montrose" which is a real thing/story, but you'll have a difficult time finding anything about it on the Internet. Too bad the Houston Post went out of business before those articles could get online.

I've read in several places that by the end of this century, 90% of present jobs will be automated. May be a stretch but it will definitely be unrecognizable to us present day folks.
