The thing is, wrestling has both stayed true to itself *and* evolved with the indy scene. WWE is stuck in the past (mostly) because Vince (he has admitted himself) only does what he likes and will do so against the better judgment of what's best for the company. Other companies have embraced new styles, new attitudes, new formats. Hell, NJPW World is is many cases a better online product than the WWE Network. They're on streaming sites, they post their own things to Youtube, they're embracing the new media. It's awesome.
