The subforum isn't something the community NEEDS to see. It's just brainstorming ideas or questions about being a mentor in general. Letting everyone have access to that would just overload it and throw the purpose of the subforum out of the window because people would ask their questions there. That's why the MTurk Help & Resources forum exists, which includes each Mentor's names so someone could contact us specifically.

Then make a separate forum for everyone to follow and update when info becomes available. Money is important and people are concerned.

We don't even have any more info to offer other than what people have been repeating in the thread for the last few days.

Exactly. We have a section of the forum for mentors to discuss things, so we can make sure we're all on the same page when it comes to answering questions. The purpose of that section isn't to hoard a bunch of information and hide it from people, it's to make sure we get things right when questions do come up.

I've looked for a separate thread here since so many are concerned and wondered why you didn't make one for everyone.

We don't even have any more info to offer other than what people have been repeating in the thread for the last few days.

But info will come up and when people start talking about it and you get tired of hearing about it you'll make the thread and tell people to go to it. That seems to be how it works.

The thread that was linked actually doesn't have any info in it. It was just created this morning as a place to pool ideas, so we can offer recommendations. If you have questions, we have the help forum and we have the @Mentor tag, if you don't want to leave the work threads. That's what they're for.
