Why don't you be pro-active? Anyone can make a thread.
You could make a thread and then gather all of the information posted on the forum thus far about the issue.

Then you could write an email and/or call customer support asking for clarification about the issue. when you get any answers you can post them in the thread that you created. Thus doing a great service for yourself and the entire community.

I have made many threads and none of them have been deleted. I have had a few moved so they are in a better location, but not deleted.
