I used to keep one tree up every year from October 1st to January 2nd. During October it was covered in Halloween decorations and spider webs, then me and the boy made paper turkeys and strung popcorn for November, and then Christmas stuff for December. It gave me an excuse to have a tree up without anyone complaining

Why would you take the tree down that early? Although it again sounds more like a "tree."
