Google also sells your search history, and if you use gmail they look at email content... pretty much every online service that is free is selling your information. Now with the advent of windows 10 we have an operating system designed to be an advertisement delivery system... everything is getting more interconnected and by proxy more creepy.

I tried to avoid a gmail for just this reason. I think I have one because my phone needed it (I forget why, this is something my teen came up with).
OTOH, I've never used it for mail and neither I - nor she - knows the addy. So, what good it does..............I don't know..

We've known it is coming for some time and have had plenty of time to plan and prepare for the transition. I've already ported most of my scripts. The war machine is good to go.
