I have one of those . But my house runs on an oil furnace. I have a small wood stove (not as big as @Liz 's, I don't think!). Most people around here have one for either primary heating or for when the power goes out (and cause it's nice to heat with wood). We get ice storms from time to time (or so I'm told) and the power will go out for a few days - and you need a back up or your pipes will burst.
So, I have to figure out how to work the stove.................

Mine is in my garage and I pipe it into the house. Electric here is sky high and I am total electric. Wood is cheap plus a great backup source for the power outages. You will get it figured out, it just takes a few times to get it down. I had mine going all last week but it's 67 here today, snow yesterday, so it's currently not on.
