Sometimes family are the worst people to get help from like that because they can easily take advantage of you. I say get someone who can be there on time regardless of what's going on in their life.

It generally takes me about 4-5 hours for a dr's appointment. I switched dr's offices because i thought it was ridiculous...same thing.

Promise I'm not judging, but she's given you enough reasons that she should have been replaced already. Since you have to take the day on Monday, tell her today that it's her last day. It's time.

this makes me thankful that doctors are efficient here. never had an appt last longer than an hour for something routine.

almost all of that is spent waiting. at both offices, i saw the doctor for about 10-15 minutes. It sucks. I pretty much don't go to the dr at all, I kind of just wait for it to be bad enough to go to the ER, because they're quicker anyway.

i'm happy to live in the middle of nowhere! the kids doctors office is busy, but they're fast. my GP is always empty cuz he sucks. but i love my gyn. in and out.

Ok. Was going to say all of our doctor visits are like that as well. I don't go but when I take my kids we are there for at least 2 hours and 5 mins with the doctor.
