I has a question To connect a desktop computer to a TV I need to get HDMI to ???? I am seeing HDMI to DVI or VGA and honestly they look the same to me lol




Why don't Campbells Soups cans and string work anymore

my laptop is connected to my tv. I use the TV as my monitor, and the laptop is a second monitor only shows hitfinder (and is touch screen so I can delude myself into thinking I can tap the panda faster than I can click it)

I read voraciously. I like technical manuals, history books, murder mysteries, philosophy, fantasy, alternate history, etc and so on. Right now I'm working my way through a 4th reading of Stranger in a Strange Land, as well as Light: Science and Magic, and the first book of the new Shannara series.

Gotcha. My set up is weird. I have the tv set to an nvidia shield with a direct connection. I am able to cast from my desktop because aI share the network with that. Then the rest of the house is on a second connection. I literally pay for 2 connections because our service is so slow. I asked about the HDMI input because I myself didn't understand why I couldn't hook up to the last tv and hubby explained it to me in plainguage

pick up the malazan empire books, they're great. you have to suffer past book one though, because it doesn't make sense until you've gotten to book three or four.

HDMI ports specifically say hdmi
port out from computer into the tv.
then, depending on your computer operating system, settings>display>multiple displays>etc..

I read heavy as well not the same things as you. I read what I like and thats why I think reading is beautiful. A billion books for every brain. I keep it simple chuck phalaniuk hunter s charles bukowski and similar. I enjoy they're words so I read it doesnt make me smarter but I enjoy it

Took me a bit to get the HDMI right here ^_^ I now have my alpha 2 hooked up to my 32 inch tv and use it as my monitor ^_^

Id take a pick of mine but its deep in the darkness of my computer cable management ya you just need a converter. Buy two and do dual tv screens

If you like Chuck Palahniuk check out Douglas Adams... same penchant for absurdity but Adams has a way with words that is just absolutely brilliant. Most people recommend know him for The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy but you might really like his Dirk Gently books.

each is good enough to be considered a stand alone book, but basically people can become ascendents, which is the path to godhood, and two specific gods are trying to seize control of several aspects of the magic world for a specific reason that I cannot disclose prior to book 5 or 6

regular people become the incredible heroes that save the world from an attack on their world's magic system (which is one of the most original uses of magic I've ever seen in a fantasy book)

a foreign god from another planet is stuck on earth, and breeds disease and pestilence into the planet... but he may not be a malicious god after all

it's a very, very complex story, and one of the better high-epic fantasy series I've ever read

again, book1 is all over the place, and doesn't make much sense at first.
