So I finally have enough money earned from MTurk to get a Nintendo Switch. Just have to wait for all the transfers to clear and go to my bank, but it's fucking happening!

Now I get to save for something else or just hold it in a rainy day fund.

While I agree with the sentiment, I will probably be dead before I can save up enough money for that strictly using MTurk. But that's a whole life circumstances thing.

And just for reference, almost 70% of Americans have $1000 or less in savings. Not because it's the smart thing, or that they have wealth, but because we are all barely struggling to get by in the current environment we have all created for ourselves.
