Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but it just started today for me. If I have PandaCrazy (running on new site) open in a tab that isn't active/shown, it seems like it is barely cycling if at all. The instant I click the tab and bring it to the front, it starts working like normal again. I am on a somewhat slow public internet right now but like I said, once I click the tab its back to normal.

i think i read somewhere you have to have it in it's own separate window for that reason. i could be wrong though. or thinking of another script.

It is just not as covenant as I am used to but I pretty much have the hang of it now.

ive used it more and more the last few days. i see a few more pros after using it more.

new pros ive seen:

- i like the timer changing colors as it nears running out

still cons:

- no AA is a huge con

- not seeing how many hits are left in a batch

I've been doing this for 2 years now. It took me quite some time to get over the $30/day rut. My current goal is $60/day but I do other work as well so thankfully don't have to rely on this as my sole income. I have a few good quals but am over 100k with no Masters.

What people don't always say: making money on MTurk is hard for everyone. Having quals or masters helps but everyone struggles. Finding good batches is always going to be hard. They don't come around every day and are often gone quickly. Use all the tools at your disposal. When you find a requester you like put them in TM/HM/OW. Some people can do every survey that they can catch but I can't as it kills my brain too quickly. I try to find a balance. Some days though surveys are the only route. Many requesters are now on other platforms so looking at some of those too will help. Learning to script is also a great idea. A bad batch can become good if you can make it faster.

It takes time to understand a platform that changes daily but you aren't doing anything wrong. Keep hustling and keep asking questions. You will get there! :twohearts:

yeah I love the timer changing colors, SO helpful. And the automatic copy/paste MTurk ID. Nice for when the MTS script doesn't work on a survey (there's a specific platform that it doesn't work on but I can't remember which right now)
