When you don't live in CA, it's still scary for a moment. Plus, they're in a spot that's gonna get reactions from the water for a bit.

Oh I dunno. That could do some damage. Not structural, but stuff could fall off shelves...

I was in one about that size way up in a skyscraper in SF and it felt way bigger up there. (And it shut down the damn trains so I couldn't get home for HOURS while they inspected the tracks.)

Nobody asked, but I experienced my first earthquake as a kid in Vegas and the first thing I noticed was the sound of stuff rattling in my closet. I jumped out of bed, ran down the hallway toward my parents' room, and started yelling about how I KNEW IT, I knew there were skeletons living in my closet! I was disappointed when my dad said it was an earthquake.

Anyway I hope nothing fell off anyone's shelves or spooked anyone too bad today.
