yes, lol. i am going on vacation in 2 weeks and need to be able to talk to my kids. and play games.

OK, so I can at least suggest a good company to be with if you're not ecstatic about the company you're now with: Consumer Cellular. They're inexpensive and use the AT&T 'backbone.'

I use the Moto G4 play,It is noting special but works well for what I need and is a good priced mid range phone.

There is also a Verizon pre pay version that is almost half the price and the plan for it is 40 dollars a month with unlimited talk and text and 3 GIG of data that can roll over each month to 6 gig. And after 1 year of Verizon service you can then take the phone to any carrier to use on their network.

I use an Axon 7 mini and I'm pretty OK with it. It does everything I need it to do except the camera is kinda lame.

Pros:
cheap ($199)
not noticeably slow
good size for my hands (not too huge)

Cons:
bad camera
non-stock android / slower updates

OK, so I can at least suggest a good company to be with if you're not ecstatic about the company you're now with: Consumer Cellular. They're inexpensive and use the AT&T 'backbone.'

i'm coming from freedompop, and i paid absolutely nothing for service every month (i paid a couple bucks in extras though) cheap is good!
i will look into this. i'm doing a lot of research on phones and plans this weekend.

I use the Google Pixel XL, by far the best phone i have used. It is only 569 now unlocked from the google store.

way out of my price range, i already looked into it! even applied for financing, but i have zero credit so i'm sure i will get declined. i wanted it so i could use project fi.

Though I'd say they generally market toward folks more of my age and above, they have great plans and you are able to use the latest in smart phones with them.

yea i see the site is very user friendly, haha. its good they are great people.
for what i need, it would be 25/month. which isnt bad at all.
where i live, i don't get any cell service. so these limited type plans are perfect for me since i'm on wifi the majority of the time.
