Say what you will, Rogue One (while it may not be a great Star Wars movie) was an amazing war movie. If there had been no Star Wars references at all it would have still held up and been great to watch.

I didn't have to start wearing glasses until I was 38. I long for the days when I could see everything clearly and not just two small bits.

Okay yes Rogue One I will give a pass to it was pretty good. That was not the one that came to mind when I wrote that. But after the new movie I am put off with Star Wars movies which hurts as I have been such a long time fan.

when people ask me how the new Star Wars was either good or bad, it is hard to explain because of the direction of the film.

Here's how I feel about the new Star Wars. Disney got their grubby hands on it and changed it. I do not mind change but it is just really feels like a Disney movie(that style you might know what I mean) and not an original Stars Wars type movie. They added too much of their influence to it and it is sickening to me.

Watch the new movie by itself and I guess it is alright.

Watch 4,5,6, then watch the new movie and think, WTF is this crap?

I agree, HIT DB is badly needed, I was at the start of 3 surveys this morning and I realized I already did them. I didn't realize how badly Hit DB was needed to avoid repeats until now.

That's more because JJ Abrahms tried too hard to appeal to long time Star Wars fans by basically making A New Hope: 2 Electric Boogaloo. I haven't seen Last Jedi yet, so I'll save my opinion if it was a one time issue.
