That Turkers have so little sway with AMT and Requesters may be because we Turkers are not organized. No organization = no power to influence AMT (and some Requesters) to be more ... rational with regard to how they treat us.

Is that better? ( I did say I'd only had two cups of coffee. )

oh i understand now. yes, that makes sense. but what would organization look like? a workers union with leaders? all the forums would have to get on board but there are so many workers that don't use any forums or tools at all and they are just in the woodwork.

Yeah I checked that and it is set to once. It also doesn't show that it accepted any even though I had three hits in my queue

I think disagree with the first paragraph. If we have no power with regard to what AMT does or does not do (and, ancillarily [sp?], what Rs do or do not do), it is--in my view--due to what I perceive to be Turker's bias against organization. (Disclaimer: this is my first post of the day, on only 2 cups of java.)

Plus, many of us have established positive "relations" with may Rs: no reason we can't take advantage of those relaionships. (now, my third cup of coffee).

I would like @clickhappier's take on this if he isn't too busy. ( But he's always busy. )

Kind of feels like ideally Amazon would be the one who would protect us from abuse, but I guess doing too much of that would destroy their ability to claim we're not employees.
