It's not TM.

It's A) you are using too slow of a refresh rate or
B) Surveys aren't being returned/expired so trying to catch them is just wasting page refreshes on a pipe dream

I'm not going after trying to catch surveys with a PANDA, though I know that's what most people do. I just am trying to be alerted when they post like TM used to do -- Now it hardly ever alerts me(speaking about the 25 cent surveys and up thing here)

You should use Hit Scraper for surveys.

No, I'm not doing that, but yeah, Hit Scraper, I keep putting off learning how to use it. I guess I should do that sometime....

5 Seconds, the setting I always used back when it was constantly working -- It used to ding so much that I actually changed it to 7 seconds

Seriously, something has changed and now it does not work. I've reinstalled it today also, actually doing a full uninstall then re-downloading it

I have a theory but no one seems to address it : Is it possible my TM is clogging up somehow? Like I have about 12 survey's in the selection area when I hover over the arrow, most of them I have already taken and I'm not qualified for. Could it be these are blocking out the new surveys from showing up?

I have a question, is TM very bad at catching surveys? I'm asking because I've had it running all day and it probably alerted me to two surveys, but then on 'another' forum, I've been seeing people post a lot of surveys(which of course, I haven't been able to grab today)

Seems like TM is now inadequate for being alerted to surveys?

You should really only use TM for PANDA and requesters you know of. HitScraper is better for the stuff you don't know about yet. I'd guess 95 percent of the HITs posted on the forum are out of Scraper.

I'm not running any other pandas actually, so it's a pretty big mystery. Eh, I don't know why it stopped working, I've thought of everything and nothing makes sense

Getting everything ready. FINALLY, after 2 years I'm gonna have my new desktop PC up and running in two weeks. Literally, I've been using Windows XP my entire life, lol. Kinda scared to change to Windows 7, but can't hold out anymore. Anyways, thanks to people here who have helped me earn the money for this!

Yes. And then if you miss it, add it to TM.

HS does it too...but its not as efficient to me because TM will allow you to see what hit is being posted on whatever screen you're on.
For HS, you have to change the tab to see what hit it is.
