I tried one about a year and a half ago and it took about 3 minutes to get through everything they asked, but it was rejected because it didn't take 5 minutes even though the instructions it said only take up to 5 minutes maximum. Felt discouraged since then.I dunno. Each one pays $10 and they usually take between 2 and 10 minutes. Sometimes maybe up to 15 minutes. It's worth it to me, for that pay.

Aww, that sucks. Was it UserTesting.com or another site testing website? I've never heard of them rejecting them, just giving a 1 star rating if something was really wrong.I tried one about a year and a half ago and it took about 3 minutes to get through everything they asked, but it was rejected because it didn't take 5 minutes even though the instructions it said only take up to 5 minutes maximum. Instructions say "You may do the questionnaire multiple times if you want" but if you try and accept another HIT it says you've already done this task

nothing, when too many people in an area stream HD video, you might experience slight slowdowns.I'm confused. What's wrong here?

Fair response? I have no problem eating the rejection, technically I wasn't paying attention after I thought I was finished with the survey and missed the code, but that still doesn't mean putting it there wasn't shady as fuck. I was willing to let it go.Happy Holidays and thank you for your message! You were rejected for typing in the examplary code 201702 instead of following the instructions to determine your own code (this is where your year of birth kicks in). Unfortunately, I cannot reverse the rejection as we cannot use the data. Let me explain: Scientific experiments require reliable data. It is crucial that participants read the instructions and understand them or whether they just skim through them. To ensure reliability, scientists incorporate control questions. The control questions are initially validated in pre-tests to ensure that they are understandable. The code in this study served the purpose of a control question. Participants were asked to enter their individual code comprising of their own year of birth and month of birth. The code 201702 was merely an examplary code of an unrealistic case (which is how we know it is wrong). Following scientific protocol, participants who have not responded correctly to the control question (meaning that they have mistakenly typed in the examplary code) are excluded from the data analysis and other MTurkers are recruited to repeat the HIT.
I hope this clears matters and I wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year!
Thanks for the reply. I would like to be assured that the data you received from me will not be used. Your attention check was placed in a spot that is not normally known to have attention checks, I would even go so far as to say that in the thousands of surveys I have done on mTurk over the years I have never seen one placed in the completion code. Before the code page you received 100% valid data, and since I have to eat the rejection I would like to know that my work will not be used.
Thanks, and Happy Holidays!
This is that 4$ hit right.I am betting this person has spent a while sending out emails, unless it's a copy/pasta

you know, last year this week wasn't bad at all, for me.As much as I love Christmas. I can't wait for normal money days to return.
Those are painful numbers to look at for the next few days. Are you manually putting those into a calendar?you know, last year this week wasn't bad at all, for me.
this year though.. there's like nothingLog in or register now. to view Spoiler content!
that was last year. that was also weekdays only 7am to 8am, and about 9:30pm to 11:30ish.Those are painful numbers to look at for the next few days. Are you manually putting those into a calendar?
Yeah, I took it before the train wreck too. I normally don't pay much attention to TO unless it's red in Hit Finder, and even then I may do it if it seems legit. This is that 4$ hit right.
I did it the right way & didn’t get a rejection but their TO was wrecked days ago.
I’m surprised you took it.
I think it was a little tricky/sneaky of them.
