Thanks for the help on the qual all! I have been good about grabbing the qual HITs. I have even improved on grabbing any with a qual test. I just can't always tell from the qual itself if it is one I am disqualified from because of my demographics from those standard HITs, if it is one I can request, if it is one I need to find the qual HIT for, if it is hopeless, or if it is something I haven't even heard of yet lol.

generally the ones in the qual area are old. the requesters may not post anymore, so they can just be a waste of time.
look for new hits with qual in the title!

I wouldn't bog yourself down too much with searching around for qual HITs. When a good qual pops up ... trust me: the forum is abuzz with activity about it We try to look out for one another here.

You have to catch the qual HITs. Last ones were in October.

I got mine near the end of October this year, the best thing to do is setup something like Overwatch for Sergey, and when you see a non-racey HIT post that you can do, jump on it it's the qual.

Put Sergey Schmidt in Overwatch and keep a look out when he does post the qual HITs again, he doesn't do it often but he does post them usually in the daytime and sometimes there will be a huge batch of Topics up like this last time he gave out the qual with a 13k batch of them.

That's the one complaint I have about Overwatch; there's not a way to select qualified only. If you could, it would be an amazing way to catch qual HITs.

For ANY qual test on mturk, you get the name of the qual test and you put it into hit monitor or hit catcher or whatever. That way when it pops up, you know.

if you cant find the name of the qual test from searching the forums, you got to put the requesters name into hit monitor or hit catcher or whatever. Then just always check to see if whats posted is a qual test.
