Hey people! This is the requester from the LOS surgery videos HIT that was discussed a couple of days ago on this forum

After considering inputs and feedback from workers who performed the HIT, we have made updates to our HIT. We could not accommodate all of the feedback, since that would affect our study design, and other logistics.
Again, we would like to apologize if the experience was not as smooth for the initial few times.

This was our first time posting HITs on MTurk.

Please, do keep in mind that we are an academic group and are trying our best to conduct this study keeping the convenience and comfort of the user (Turker) in mind. We could be slow at times and low on resource so please bear with us.

We are collecting some initial response data from limited number of HITs to understand the data better before loading the entire batch of HITs.

So I get a message in my inbox from "LOS" that says hey: "we just redid our hits changed the format and pay to make them better" (paraphrasing slightly). So I say to myself awesome I really do enjoy those hits even if I am making bare minimum they are good to break up the day! I start one and answer the 10 questions or so click next video and I'm told I failed an attention check and that I can longer work on their hits. There was 100% no "attention" I'd stake and entire weeks worth of morning coffee on it. Good game LOS I keep trying and they just keeping failing.

Can do multiples. You have to do the tutorial once so the first one is longer than the rest.

You can do multiple, first one takes twice as long since you have to do practice and qual. After that, the rest are about 10 min each.

eh, I returned it. Based on HIT page, you have to do 20 practice ones, 100 for an eligibility test that you have to get a minimum score on, then 200 actual ones. Noooo thanks
