Adam was a really good requester, even though his HITs made my head hurt sometimes. He also went out of his way to set up make-up HITs for dumbasses who screwed up (not that I'm naming any names).I emailed back and forth a bit with him about the project. He was really cool. I'm sad it ended!
Going to start typing out my PEs like a Craigslist prostitute types out her phone number so as to bypass your filters.I modified the mturkgrind.com tweaks script to work here and use it to block (most) posts with people posting their PE. There's almost never a time where it does anything other than demotivate me and make me feel frustrated, even if I had a good day. If you feel the same I highly recommend it.
I don't, however, recommend clicking on the spoilered PE posts and then getting mad anyway, cause that's just dumb and why do I do that.
Same. I like being aware if I missed something big during the day. That way I can solve the mystery of what it was and add it to my Hit Monitor.I'm the opposite of you, I like to see PE's. It lets me know what is possible and if i am doing something wrong for that day, plus I like to see the people here doing so well.
I personally think that is a fabulous PE for your fourth full day! You will find your groove and be a higher earner in no time, I bet!!!$25 in 6 hours on my 4th full day. I think that's okay, but reading what you guys are making has me pulling my hairs out.
Because I'm envious and I know it's shitty behavior but it still makes me saltySo like if someone who made $10 can be happy and post about it then why is bad for someone who sat here for 12 hours and busted their ass all day to feed their family?
That and, this is our version of work-place performance incentives. We don't have bosses to tell us "good job", or "you're improving". We don't get raises for a good performance, or promotions, no end-of-the-year award ceremony bullshit. There are no pats on the back, except from each other, and as humans, we wanna share pats without "co-workers".I'm not generally a high earner so when I post my weeklies on Sundays it's because I'm proud for pushing myself. It's never my intent to make anyone feel bad.

Did you know that in Canada, those are called Reese Peanut Butter Cups?PE: Reeses's Peanut Butter Cups
And I'm willing to share.
Are they smaller without the S?Did you know that in Canada, those are called Reese Peanut Butter Cups?
Nah I mean I wasn't talking about what you were saying, I meant more like the rare occasion when people are actually rude about it.Because I'm envious and I know it's shitty behavior but it still makes me salty
I'm picturing them shadily reducing the packaging size a tiny bit by removing the S. Like Toblerone apparently reduced the amount of chocolate by making the peaks in between each piece widerAre they smaller without the S?
Not sure. I'm planning to investigate this weekend. Will report back. Are they smaller without the S?
Here's proof this works. Reading this post will make me want to work harder tomorrow so he doesn't beat me again.I hope that (one) it works out (hundred) and we have (fourteen) a good time tonight, hun.

I don't know what it is about those but I just cannot maintain focus with them. Look up menus on restaurant sites? Ok, sure, I'll do that all day. Find emails? Ok. Get the restaurant off a yelp page? No problem. But categorizing those things just makes me want to do anything elseNah I mean I wasn't talking about what you were saying, I meant more like the rare occasion when people are actually rude about it.
Your feelings are your feelings, ya know.
You should start grinding those 5s harder tho.
Telling you with repetition comes a higher hourly.
Not anything I'm doing that you can't do.
I can attest to this about 5s. I'm nowhere near CJ or Vanyanka level of grinding them out, but I am so much faster now than I was when I first started.Nah I mean I wasn't talking about what you were saying, I meant more like the rare occasion when people are actually rude about it.

I think the reason high earners get flack is just people venting their frustration. They can't take it out on mturk so they take it out on the person who did better than they did. They see someone doing so well and they get upset that they aren't there yet. They don't take into consideration all the variables like time spent working, effort to learn how to work efficiently etc.Going to start typing out my PEs like a Craigslist prostitute types out her phone number so as to bypass your filters.

Biggest thing I've never understood though is why it's shamed for only high earner to post their PE.
